How does a Reclaim Energy Heat Pump work?

Simply put, a heat pump is a device that uses a small amount of energy to move heat from one location to another. In the case of the Reclaim energy CO2 Heat pump this energy is pulled out of the air and transferred to your hot water tank.

The energy required to make the heat pump run is electricity. With the Reclaim energy CO2 Heat pump only needing 1kW to create between 4 to 5 kW of heat. That makes it an impressive 400 to 500% efficient which = great savings on your hot water. If you have an existing electric storage hot water heater you can reduce you energy bill by up to 80%

How the Reclaim Energy Heat pump works

Does the Reclaim Energy Heat Pump work at low temperatures?

Yes where other heat pumps drop massively in efficiency stop working or switch over to an inbuilt electric element (which the Reclaim Heat Pump doesn’t need) this heat pump is rated to heat your hot water down to -10℃.
